A poster can start the conversation. Your people keep it going.
For safety leaders, wellbeing teams and site managers, IAEM brings a practical rhythm to workplace check-ins: visible reminders, crew champions and a shared way to ask, listen and follow up.
We work with your site leaders, HSRs and workforce to fit the approach to your people. It sits alongside your existing safety systems, peer support and EAP.
Four steps to help you check in with a mate.
Choose a step to see how it can sound.
“You’ve been a bit quiet lately. You right?”
Pick a normal moment, away from noise and an audience. Mention what you’ve noticed, then ask straight.
The Chinwag Method is Yeah Mate’s own adaptation, informed by the R U OK? conversation model. IAEM is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by R U OK?.
Agree the scope together, then put it into practice.

Leadership alignment + site-fit discovery. Agree the purpose, boundaries and responsibilities. Listen to site leaders, HSRs and the people closest to the work.
Activation kit + Chinwag Method. Posters, stickers, QR touchpoints and launch assets make checking in visible. The four-step method gives every conversation a practical starting point.
Chinwag Champions + monthly prompts. Crew mates who listen and know when to bring in extra support, with fresh reminders that keep the message alive.
IAEM Pulse + review and recognition. Short workforce check-ins explore adoption and confidence. Annual review and a refresh plan shape what happens next. Privacy and participation are agreed before activation.

No. IAEM is a workplace culture and check-in framework. It isn’t therapy, diagnosis, crisis support or a replacement for qualified care, your EAP or your safety systems.
Yes. IAEM is designed to sit alongside existing programs. The focus is making everyday check-ins visible, normal and easy, with clear pathways into the support you already have.
The framework provides a shared national direction, while each site shapes the language, assets, timing and touchpoints around its own workforce.
Scope first, cost second. The structure combines an annual framework licence, agreed site activation support and optional extras. The mix is worked out together around what your workplace needs.
Tell us a little about your workplace and what you have in mind. We can work through the sites, people and support you already have, then discuss where IAEM could fit.
Your priorities. Your existing programs.
A sensible place to start.
